Happy whiskers, waggy tails!

Pancake (2003-2024)

I found Pancake at an RSPCA adoption centre back in 2017. I had originally gone to look at another cat, but the little guy I met was not feeling the connection! The staff then suggested I take a look at their sweet little lady black cat as she was the longest staying resident at the time.
I remember walking up to her enclosure and she was looking through the glass at me; she started doing little headbutts as they opened the door to get her out, and I just fell head over heels in love with her. I can definitely say that when you go to adopt a cat, they choose you, not the other way around, and Pancake knew she was coming home with me, and vice versa, the moment we laid eyes on each other.

I had the pleasure of Pancake's sweet and calm company from the day I brought her home that summer in 2017 all through to summer 2024 when she heartbreakingly crossed that rainbow bridge.

She was 21 years old, and she was the most loving, snuggly cat.

Pancake's Pet Care is dedicated to my sweet little purr-baby. She brought so much comfort and joy to my life; she would sit on my lap at every opportunity (unless the sun was shining particularly hard, when I was second place to a good windowsill) and curl up in my arms every night like a plushie or a hot water bottle. I miss her very much. I founded my pet sitting company with all the love I felt suddenly at a loose end with, and that's how we ended up here.

We would like to start raising some money next year for charity, to support local animal rescues in the Somerset area, to honour of her memory. Keep checking back for new information on upcoming fundraising!
